Men

UCL Men’s Fencing have had a strong season finishing 3rd in the Premier South and we are hoping to top it off with a win in varsity. This year we invite King’s to UCL to take revenge for last year’s narrow loss. With new additions and many international level fencers on both sides, this year’s varsity fencing is not one to be missed. So, get yourself down to the Cloisters to support UCL fencing and create an electric atmosphere to equal that of the match itself.

Women

Having just won 4 out of 5 matches in the last BUCS weekend, UCL’s Women’s Fencing Team feel more determined than ever. Finishing second in the Premier League, at close distance from Oxford University, the team is ready to provide more energy and spectaculous fencing on piste. The season might be almost over for us, but we still keep the winning spirit. As such, we invite you all to see us fence against King’s College, in an attempt to keep our win from last year and the Varsity Winners title at UCL. There’s nothing better than having a loud and supportive crowd by our side as we keep on fencing with the same passion that got us so far! Make sure you’ll be there and we can guarantee you won’t regret it.

KCLSU

King’s has always had a strong fencing team, and we’re better than ever this year with all 4 of our teams winning massive successes in BUCS and friendly matches. Our members and alumni brought back 4 medals from the Paris X-systra Challenge, and our top fencers are sporting impressive rankings on the UK podiums and the international stage including several medals in this year’s Commonwealth games. In other words, we’ve trained all year for this and are more than ready to take on UCL and claim what’s ours - this time, we won’t be sharing the trophies.
